Good to see things happening. This coincided with one of our seminars at
Crowne Plaza, so I was unable to even raise my hand to help out in these
last few weeks that I'm still here.

Keep me posted, I'll try to help in areas where I can, not help in areas
where I can't. Good stuff Shiva and crew.

i'm glad to say that the workshop went well. we had nine participants
and i must say that shiva is an excellent facilitator. he even inspired
one participant to go home and totally dismantle and rebuild her computer.
well done shiva!
i'll do an official release later next week.
Allan.
hey guys
Good luck with the workshop this weekend.. i wish i could be there as

Man.. the eternal question on linux training.. how about starting with doing
an installation and then taking on specific things like setting up mail
server, web server, doing some some networking.. that kind of thing.

Look, I would be glad to get together and share what I know. We need a
place to hold training. That's always been the problem.

We need quiet, air-conditioning, some tables, an internet connection.
A couple of machines that can be torn down and re-built easily.

I keep thinking that we can all grow if we can get together and share ideas.

if we can use the CIS lab at shiva's school for now then venue problem
is temporarily solved.

Shiva when you return to Trinidad, we gonna wash yuh clean from all dat
Microsoft training you getting in India.......

so, once we get confirmation of venue, how about we do one tech meeting
per month? and at each meeting we deal with solving some problem or
providing basic training in some aspect? this way we can have different
demonstrators, and *everyone* can learn something.......

this is outside of any workshops like the hardware workshop.
